Do you have an outgoing personality ? And a love of all things XERO ? If yes then this could be your dream role !
We are looking for a senior XERO Bookkeeper with Australian Public Practice Accounting firm experience to lead the charge in setting up a variety of businesses on XERO including transitioning to XERO.
A love of XERO software and a personality that enjoys meeting and helping clients streamline their bookkeeping is what this role requires. You will need to have a drivers licence also as there will be initial visits to clients ( accompanied by a senior accountant) just for the set up but most of your time will be in the office.
It would be great if you had;
- XERO certification ( not essential just preferred )
- Significant bookkeeping experience in an Australian Accounting Firm
- Experience transitioning from other softwares across to XERO
- A good handle on BAS, Creditors, Debtors
- Some knowledge around Superannuation and Payroll
- The ability to review the work of other bookkeepers
- The ability to form lasting relationships with staff and clients alike
- The desire for a long term role you can take ownership of
- Knowledge across Microsoft programs, MYOB AE, XPM and other various programs

NB: If you're looking to transition from this role into an accountant, this is not an option as this is a full time - long term XERO bookkeeping role taking charge of this division which will grow way beyond your appointment, you'll be there at the birth of this exciting division and play part in decision making and streamlining.
