A fantastic opportunity has become available due to growth in one of our client’s firms based in Brisbane. We are now seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Junior to Intermediate Accountant to join their dedicated team.

This practice offers a personalised service to their clients who are from a diverse range of industries focusing on business advice, audit and taxation. They encourage and support ongoing training and development and work in a professional team environment.

About the role:

Preparation of financial statements for trusts, partnerships, individuals and companies
Lodgement of income tax returns, BAS and IAS
Business Performance reviews
Business planning, financial management and advice
Full bookkeeping Services
Client Management
Monthly reporting
Tax compliance

The successful candidate:

1- 2 years’ experience within an Australian Public Practice firm
Wanting growth in their career
Excellent communicator both written and verbal
Have a positive attitude, be ambitious and enthusiastic
Possess excellent attention to detail
Be professional and courteous with the ability to build rapport easily with clients
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads
Online practice accounting software, ideally Quickbooks, Xero, MYOB and Handitax
