About the Role


This is a varied and challenging position within the management accounting team which will see you closely working to support Aged Care Plus business stakeholders, using your strong business partnering skills and analytical skills.


The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage timely and accurate month end process
  • Perform value-adding variance analysis of monthly commercial management reports
  • Manage annual budget process
  • Business stakeholder engagement
  • Complete ad hoc reporting / analysis per requirement
  • Supervise junior staff of the management accounting team

 
About You

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
  • Sound commercial acumen and proven analytical skills
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills – ability to liaise effectively with all key stakeholders
  • Team player
  • Aged Care or Health Care experience including knowledge of the funding process and industry reforms
  • Advanced computer literacy – Epicor and Finance1 preferred
  • CA/CPA qualified with relevant tertiary qualifications
