The Company
Our client is an ASX Listed business who are renowned for their fantastic culture alongside their excellent training programmes. This is a rare opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to accelerate their career in an organisation that will help you progress and develop your skill set.

 The Role 
You will report directly to the Financial Controller and your responsibilities will include but aren't limited to: 

• Financial reporting
• Budgeting and planning
• Perform month end journal entries (prepayments, depreciation, accruals, etc)
• Produce monthly reports
• Payroll tax, BAS preparation, etc
•  Process monthly payroll transactions
• Cash management including preparing cash flow statements and performing bank reconciliations. 

Your background 
To be successful you will be immediately available and with a relevant tertiary qualification. You will have 1 -2 years’ experience in a similar role with a Strong work ethic and a desire to learn all you can about finance. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

As this is a temporary contract you must be immediately available or have a maximum notice period of 1 week. Candidates in a permanent role with a 4 week notice period will not be considered.
