We are looking for a Site Bookkeeper to join our successful team in our Port Macquarie office. The successful applicant will provide bookkeeping, payroll, corporate and other industry specific financial reporting, assisting the Company’s Accounts & Administration Manager on all matters concerning the financials of the business.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Manage creditors and debtors; receipts and payments into MYOB accounting software.
  • Assist the Company’s Accounts & Administration Manager with the Processing of payroll and maintaining employee records for the site.
  • Perform bank reconciliations on a specific timeline as directed and manage all banking duties required by Management.
  • Produce balance sheet, profit and loss and project summary reports as required by Management.
  • Follow up outstanding creditors, maintain records and provide reports as required.
  • Prepare BAS statements quarterly and ensure that all financial records are accurate and timely for each end of financial year.
  • Assist Management with preparation of annual work cover statements and tax returns.
  • Assist with office projects from time to time – providing specific bookkeeping support, research and report writing etc.
  • Comply with general office policies, procedures and all legal requirements.
  • Undertake any other specific duties as required by Management.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED;

  • Approximately 5 + years’ clerical and bookkeeping experience in working within a medium sized business.
  • Experience in working with MYOB Accounting Software.
  • Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, and/or CPA/CA accreditation/qualifications are not required, however; would be an advantage.
