The Organisation
The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service is an independent statutory body that provides public hospital and healthcare services to nearly 300,000 people from 29 facilities and operates within a large and diverse geographic area covering some 90,000 square kilometres. The DDHHS is one of the main employers in the region, employing more than 5,000 people. The Role
We are looking for an experienced executive to join our team. Your focus will be to lead and deliver end-to-end Human Resource, Workplace Health and Safety and Organisational Development Services ensuring alignment and delivery consistent with strategic business plans. The role will provide authoritative and strategic advice to the Darling Downs Health Service Chief Executive and Health Service Board on all workforce matters. The role also has management accountability for an operating budget of $8.7 million and 68.5 FTE staff.

You will need to be a seasoned change leader working at the Executive level within a large and complex organisation, demonstrating significant experience in leading the design, implementation and evaluation of leadership development programs.
You will have success in driving organisational behaviour, particularly with regard to embedding a values-based culture.
