Our client is an established, AFSL accredited and revenue positive startup that has successfully built a digital platform that uses leading edge proprietary technology to provide sophisticated investors with efficient and transparent access to a changing, curated selection of high quality early-stage investment opportunities including IPO’s, private placements and seed stage deals. Having proven product/market fit and significant organic growth without marketing, they are in the process of closing a capital raise with a view to scaling the HNW investor side of the market and are now looking to hire a high calibre CEO to lead the business through a rapid growth stage.
Based in Melbourne and working closely with the Founders of the business, the new CEO will further refine and agree the strategy; lead, develop and grow her/his team and use her/his excellent knowledge and understanding of the HNW investor market and well-developed networks to build and scale the investor side of the market.
As the ideal candidate, you are an experienced business leader who has successfully developed and grown a business focused on the HNW market and you have strong, demonstrated experience in marketing to and selling to HNWs and a relationship network that reflects this capability. This may have been via events or on-line or in any way that has proven effective at developing an investor base at scale. Your sector experience may be from Private Banking, Private Client Advisory/Broking, Corporate Advisory or the HNW and Family Office Advisory Divisions of the Chartered Firms. Alternatively, senior leaders of digital platforms marketing to this sector would also be of interest.
