ABOUT THE COMPANY

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the General Manager of this emerging business, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the various solutions into the specified market segments through the combination of a strategic plan and being action orientated in the execution of that plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

manage the full operations and P&L
drive operational efficiencies
refine processes and procedures
develop market-leading technologies
enhance clients’ mining, drilling and exploration operations
pilot sales and business development for the business globally
identify and convert on commercial opportunities in the market
drive commercialisation of key innovations
forge ongoing partnerships with key resources clients
liaise with the product and engineering teams
regular reporting and communication with the board

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

proven ability managing a successful P&L
experience in mining and oil & gas sector
technology products and solutions
proven expertise in start-up environments
considerable experience in a hi-tech environment
OEM experience in a technologically focused development unit
proven track record of business development
broad commercial acumen
strong problem solver possessing adaptability and commercial agility
