The Position

This position is for those who are driven by a challenge. You will be required to use your local knowledge and sales expertise both in  office and out on the road with new customers - introducing them to WAGO and working with them to grow your customer portfolio.

This position is targeted at growing the local awareness and customer database in your backyard, using the help of already established wholesaler connections.

This is an on the road role with a simple but structured reporting requirement with the help from a support team at head office

Relationship building and time management are key parts of this role.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Draw upon product knowledge to assist clients in the specification of products so to ensure a suitable solution is achieved and when required to also provide after sales technical support. (training and support will be provided).
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets set by the company
  • Attend periodic meetings with fellow staff to report on the progress of sales, review/discuss sales activities of the company collectively.
  • Prepare reporting as required and log sales activity leads as your sales portfolio is developed.
  • Provide market feedback to ensure the ongoing growth and support of the product group.
     

    Candidate

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong computer and electronic device skills
  • Friendly and approachable personality 
  • Flexibility to manage interstate and international travel when required.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Current Drivers License & Passport
  • Self motivating personality
  • Experience in selling WAGO like products
