What is the role?

Reporting to the Territory Manager, New South Wales/Queensland, this position based in Brisbane will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans to maintain and grow our business in Queensland.  In partnership with our distributor, you will develop new accounts in the region, maintain and cultivate existing/new system integrators in order to meet or exceed annual sales goals and grow customer share.

In order to succeed in the position, you will work collaboratively with our distributor to proactively support them in "distributor led accounts."  You will also actively engage in business development activities to develop our business in the region by targeting new / competitive held accounts.

As a key member of our sales team, you will have the opportunity to be engaged in annual planning process with our distributor and develop our commercial plan for the region.  You will also take an active role in adoption of our selling process and coach other team members as appropriate.

About You

  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years selling experience
  • Demonstrated technical acumen and industry experience to understand customers' issues and providing capabilities to address these issues.
  • Good business / financial acumen and ability to apply knowledge to develop commercial plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, also showing attention to detail.
  • Experience in Channel Management and Distribution is advantageous.
