An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and resilient Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative who has a hunger for chasing business and closing sales!

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position is responsible for liaising with customers, finance, production, distribution, service and sales departments to facilitate the timely and efficient provision of our products and services within the Pharmacy business unit in Abbott Nutrition. 

The main aspects of this role include:

  • Answer customer telephone enquiries, orders, service needs and complaints, respond where appropriate or direct to relevant area. 
  • Maintain current knowledge of the company's products and services.
  • Ensure all Customer Service activities including documentation and record keeping, comply with local and international requirements, and all legal and ethical standards, and meet quality system requirements. 
  • Report all customer complaints and service requirements to appropriate personnel, in a timely and efficient manner, entering details onto system and following up where necessary in order to minimise customer dissatisfaction.
  • Liaise with sales, distribution, finance and service departments to ensure timely delivery of product to customers.
  • Maintain relevant, accurate and accessible records
  • Maintain sales statistics and records of field sales performance
  • Comply with all relevant company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimising accidental exposures to self, colleagues and/or the environment.

In addition to the above, the relevant experience is required: 

  • Experience in Customer Service/Order Processing
  • Familiarity with mainframe computer system and PC use
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy - especially MS Office programs, experience with SAP desirable
  • Resilient and persistent nature, and can handle knock-backs
