The role reports directly into the Associate Director - Category & Trade Marketing
This position operates across all retail accounts – Woolworths, Coles & Alternate Channels (Independents, ALDI, Costco and Convenience)
What do we need you to do?
- Provide Category & Market insight and analytical support for immediate Category Team & Broader Business.
- Maintain reporting and management of data/database integrity across syndicated Nielsen/Aztec/Quantium services
- Day to Day management & liaison with external data partners Nielsen, Quantium, IGD, Euromonitor, Aztec
What sort of person do we need?
- 3- 5 yrs Category Analyst or relevant analytical experience, preferably in FMCG role or blue chip organisation
- Strong capability in Nielsen/Aztec Scan/Homescan data and ideally Quantium
- Understanding of and experience in management of data/database integrity & business reporting
- Intermediate/Advanced skills in Windows and Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience in management of agency partners with leverage for strong business benefit and ROI
To be successful in this role you have strong attention to detail and enjoy working with detailed information, data and systems with an ability to turn insight into action and drive a strong commercial outcome. You will possess excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills which enable you to represent the voice of category & drive influence with key internal & customer stakeholders whilst driving accountability and maximize ROI from external agency partners. Relevant tertiary qualifications, and previous experience in Category or similar, are essential.
