Field Sales Consultant

The Position:
We are seeking a mature experienced and confident Casual Sales Consultant with a view to become permanent, to work in Sydney Metro. Must have sales experience selling consumer durables, furniture, bedding or electrical.
You will get to display your ironing skills conducting live demonstrations at Harvey Norman, Bing Lee, David Jones as well as Pop Up events at Home Shows, Shopping Centres and Costco.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about ironing, proactive and willing to learn.
Must be available 24-30 hours per week and be flexible Monday - Sunday. (most work will be Frid, Sat & Sun)
Key Responsibilities:
- First point of contact in the field, conducting live demonstrating to consumers
- Maintaining high standards of product presentation.
- Processing customer invoices, including handling cash and card payments
- General administration tasks as required
- Have a strong understanding of all Laurastar products and assist with all customer enquiries
- Provide first level customer support with following up enquiries.
The Successful candidate will have:
- Proven sales record within a retail environment (eg furniture, bedding, electrical)
- A passion for ironing is a must.
- A Good understanding of garment care and different kinds of fabric
- Bright and enthusiastic personality with exceptional customer service skills and a friendly manner.
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills.
