What you’ll need:

  • A minimum of five years sales experience in B2B sales of industrial products
  • Strong sales focused & networking background
  • Demonstrated cold calling capability
  • Proficient with MS office suite & CRM sales systems
  • The ability to read & understand technical drawings
  • The ability to make technical recommendations to customers
  • Trade qualification in fitting, turning, tool-making, electrical or mechanical engineering qualification/or background knowledge will be advantageous.

About the Role:
 
Our client is a leading manufacturer & industry leader in providing varied innovative industrial hardware solutions on a global scale. An opportunity has become available for a technically minded, sales focused & self-driven State Manager to join their Perth Welshpool branch.
The WA State Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding relevant sales targets through promoting the vast product range & developing relationships with existing & new customers.
 
What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintain & develop customer relationships with existing customers & new customers
  • Provide technical & commercial assistance to customers for the product groups
  • Assist in the development of niche & new market business opportunities
  • Prepare quotes & related documentation using CRM systems
  • Track sales & run reports on CRM systems
  • Develop strategic business plans considering customer needs & new product requirements
  • Prepare tenders & quotations for targeted projects & customers
  • Design & man stands for exhibitions
  • Initiate & develop advertisements in industry journals
  • Participate in technical product training
  • Travel regional areas, interstate & overseas when required
