This  position is suited to someone with proven sales experience, great customer service skills and a genuine motivation to grow quality lasting client relationships!

Working with our sales and production team, your day to day duties will include;

  • Developing new business relationships with business, corporate, community and government clients in the ACT area by networking and cold canvasing leads.
  • Manage existing clients, including communicate with, arrange quotations, prepare orders, project manage, arrange and/or participate in installations. (Overtime OR time in lieu is available).
  • Have the ability to, or willing to learn how to prepare quotes for your clients.
  • Follow up on existing leads and quotes to ensure we are meeting our client's expectations and winning jobs.
  • Develop a strong rapport with new and existing customers to deliver professional advice and service.
  • Answer phone, email and face to face communications in a timely manner, including creating a network with new clients who contact via phone, email or face to face.
  • Visit clients to discuss their printing requirements.
  • Assist in selecting the right products to meet the clients' needs by liaising with the key people within our business and suppliers.
  • Assist with the timely completion of urgent orders and deliveries.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, new products and technologies in order to present well informed, consistent information to your prospects.

Ideally to be successful in this role you will possess the following traits and experience:

  • Experience in direct business to business sales of products.
  • Have outstanding customer service skills.
  • A knowledge of the wide format printing industry are preferred but not essential for this role.
  • An understanding of government purchasing & procurement would be a great advantage.
  • You will need a proven ability to identify new prospects and build lasting relationships.
  • Have exceptional communication and personal skills.
  • Be able to work well autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Have great organisational skills.
  • The availability for occasional paid overtime for installation work or client promotions.
  • You must also have current driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.

The successful applicant will be remunerated accordingly to their skills and experience in the industry with a salary package including a car allowance + superannuation.
