AustCorp Executive have once again been engaged by one of our most highly esteemed clients to source for a Business Development Manager as a result of continued success within the IT services branch of an overwhelmingly successful business. Our client are market leaders in other areas of the technology they provide and are looking to further accelerate the outstanding growth that they are experiencing within the IT services market.

Role:

  • Identify opportunities to expand and recommend service offerings to the active and non-active Core clients 
  • Create mind-share within the Core Account Managers around IT Services resulting in new revenue from existing accounts
  • Help improve the Core Account Managers ability to identify IT Services opportunities 
  • Directly engage customers where IT Services is not being introduced by the core account managers 
  • Drive customer loyalty and retention through excellence in customer service and support 
  • Identify and understand customer business issues and proactively provide solutions that are mutually beneficial to company and the client
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors and suppliers around product offerings, discounts, certifications and negotiation. 
  • Communicate effectively with our clients to resolve issues without escalation and ensure client expectations are being met 

Requirements:

  • 7+ Years in a similar role
  • Knowledge of IT services sector
  • Ability to leverage relationships from other areas of the business
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook 
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills
