ICC Sydney is a $1.5 billion development that has transformed the Darling Harbour precinct. The project delivered 35,000sqm of internal exhibition space, the largest commercial kitchen in the southern hemisphere, Australia’s largest ballroom, an open air event deck, and an 8000 seat entertainment theatre.
We are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Coordinator to join our sales team and contribute to our strategic direction and profitability. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will work within the team to develop long-term partnerships to drive new business for ICC Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving all incoming enquiry calls and filtering to relevant business development staff;
- Actioning all sales related requests in conjunction with BDM & BDE;
- Preparation and following up of conference and exhibition proposals & contracts in conjunction with BDM & BDE;
- Checking availability of conference and exhibition space;
- Preparation of presentations as required
- Co-ordinating and hosting of familiarisations / site inspections
The Successful Candidate:
The successful candidate will have previous experience within event sales events market within the Hospitality sector; You will have strong insights of business to business sales methodologies which will assist you in establishing new business and managing customer accounts.
