Job description

  • Hunter role focused on identifying and securing new clients across key markets of all sizes.
  • Know the “open door” key questions for the different private cloud solutions.
  • Discovery and research into new markets to convert leads to sales.
  • Develops the sales plan to fulfil the growth and revenue goals of the organization.
  • Responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume of an organization's services.
  • Increases market share in existing markets and maximizes new business opportunities.
  • Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge/intelligence. Adequate pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated territory.
  • Hitting monthly, quarterly and annual goals by generating new business across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Engage with prospect organizations to position the Basis Bay private cloud solution on premium enterprise grade servers through value based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references and analyst data.
  • Identify key decision makers, build relationships, add value and earn trust in order to initiate the sales process and deliver real business value.
  • Cultivate C-level client and supporting relationships to develop insights into market needs, client pain points and client buying behavior to create and deliver value propositions that respond to the client's value drivers.
  • Provide compelling presentations, proposals, business cases, RFP responses, emphasizing Basis Bay differentiator in the marketplace in close collaboration with extended Basis Bay subject matter expert teams.
  • Daily update with accurate client and pipeline data.
  • Own the opportunity from identification to closure
  • Ensure new customers are looked after and using the Basis Bay private cloud solution on premium enterprise grade servers successfully.
  • Proactively call customers in the portfolio of accounts to discuss updates.
  • Work with financial services institution right across Australia & New Zealand.
  • Build strong relationships within the industry.
  • Attend relevant industry exhibitions and events.
  • Continuous improvement in self-research, learning and readiness on the new product offerings.
  • Reporting directly : Director of Sales, Asia Pacific

Preferred Tech And Prof Experience:

  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to achieve challenging sales plan.
  • Negotiation & communication skills to develop and close contracts.

Position requirements:

  • Experience in sales, lead generation or account management in the IT industry.
  • Tertiary Education in IT, Business, Marketing or similar will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to understand and translate technical requirements.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Great attitude and outgoing personality.
  • Competitive sales nature, must love the win.
  • Experience in financial services industry domain would be an added advantage.
