About the role

Resulting from continued business growth, this newly created role will work closely on developing commercial and industry partnerships in NSW, and other agreed markets, in conjunction with a team member based in Melbourne. Together these two roles will deliver on the team’s strategic plan, which focuses on corporate engagement, to create a platform for partnering with engineering organisations and their key stakeholders.

A competitive base salary and bonus potential are on offer and will be negotiated with the successful candidate. 

Key tasks will include:

  • Working to an integrated Corporate Engagement Team (CET) strategy in conjunction with other CET members and also, client and industry facing teams including the Business Development and Tertiary & Careers teams, and EA’s Divisions (where appropriate);
  • Engage with industry partners to develop a CET product to meet their business needs;
  • Monitor and evaluate CET product performance and customer feedback to generate new CET product ideas, and identify CET product features needing to be refreshed to meet our industry partner’s changing needs;
  • Work with National Conference & Events and Marketing teams to deliver the CET program at a National level;
  • Establish strong working relationships with key CET clients; and
  • Identify opportunities to expand the CET product offerings via monitoring and analysing of trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity.

To succeed in this role, you will be results driven and customer focused and in addition possess the following attributes:

  • The ability to identify commercial opportunities, develop partnership solutions and secure commercial outcomes for EA;
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with a reputation for outstanding service delivery;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and with influence, understand and adapt to different audiences and negotiate persuasively;
  • Tertiary qualifications in a marketing or business development / sales related discipline.
