With an enviable industry track record and a significant growth strategy underway an opportunity to join a high calibre team as Manager – New Business has arisen.  

This business-critical role will be responsible for the delivery of the business development functions, growing and securing new construction projects and creating and sustaining strategic life-long partnerships with new clients underpinned by values of integrity and excellence.

About You

You will have an accomplished background in a similar role gained in the Sydney tendering construction industry with a prominent builder.   

You will be a highly regarded, influential and respected member of the industry and have a demonstrated, enviable track record of success in developing and securing new business through your significant network of relationships. 

You will be a leader in developing profitable market channels and ensuring excellent customer service through advocating our culture and customer centric emphasis.

Possess strong technical industry knowledge which is supported by a higher qualification in a sales, marketing or construction management discipline.

You will have strong negotiation skills with an elevated level of emotional intelligence focused on securing work on a win-win basis with our clients with the ability to develop strategic opportunities throughout the tender phase to improve overall project outcomes.

 

 Specific responsibilities the role includes but is not limited to:

  • Identify, scope and pursue opportunities to secure, develop and nurture new business.
  • Developing and sustaining relationships with decision makers across the industry which underpins the generation of new business.
  • Meeting new business revenue targets at appropriate margins.  
  • Responsibility to develop a qualified sales lead generation system to support successful sales conversion.
  • Advocating, creating and positively expanding top of mind the awareness, reach and footprint of the Binah Construction’s brand and offering.
  • Maintain research and keep abreast of market conditions and economic factors and devise sales strategies congruent to conditions.  
  • Scope and pursue new business opportunities in construction
  • Robustly plan and report business development activities to management and stakeholders. 
  • Help develop and manage the execution of a business action plan.
  • Checking the project feasibility using Estatemaster, hence knowledge of  Estatemaster or equivalent is a must
