Right now is a great time to join the PPG Protective & Marine sales team! This role is full of opportunity to grow business and market share.
As a Territory Manager for Protective and Marine Coatings, you will manage a territory in and around Townsville and Mackay. Through value based selling and promotional activity, you will maximise the profitability of your territory in line with PPG's brand strategy. You will drive the growth of key customers and new business opportunities to achieve profit and growth objectives within the protective and marine coatings market.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieving sales, profit and growth targets;
- Developing customer service propositions in line with brand strategies;
- Managing a territory call cycle plan;
- Providing tenders and professional presentations to customers and secure specifications within the protective and marine market;
- Managing and growing a portfolio of accounts;
- Provide application and technical advice to customers;
- Promoting the PPG Brands through trade shows and industry functions.
Role Requirements
- Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously;
- Computer skills, utilising MS Office Suite;
- Provide a proven track record in building new accounts and growing existing business;
- Knowledge of the Marine or Protective Coatings market is desired but not essential.
