The Opportunity

We now have an amazing opportunity for a passionate, energetic and motivated Team Leader Events to join our growing business within our Events team in Sydney. Reporting to the NSW Business Event Manager, the primary function of this role will be to be the main client liaison whilst overseeing the successful planning and delivery of events within your portfolio. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing a key client portfolio within our client mix of corporate, sporting, music and lifestyle events;
• Overseeing the seamless delivery of client events to ensure delivery is as per specification;
• Successfully managing client relationships to ensure we remain the supplier of choice;
• Actively identifying further business opportunities with existing clients;
• Actively identifying new business opportunities with potential clients;
• Ensuring sales margins / targets are met;
• Liaising with key internal and external parties to ensure all project requirements are met within set timeframes. 
• Day to day management of the Events team in Sydney
• Accountable for the profitability, reporting and overall success of NSW Events.

Your Experience

• Five years minimum in an events or account management position 
• Completed university degree
• Demonstrated passion for corporate and sporting events and associated industry experience
• Experience with weekly and monthly management reporting 
• A passionate and dynamic attitude to their work
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A passion for people and customer service
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• High attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
