Our client is a registered training provider, who work with a wide variety of clients across Australia, from multinationals to privately owned companies. They provide a range of products including face to face and online training courses and specialise in the hospitality and retail markets.
Description
After their inception 10 years ago, the business has gone from strength to strength and it is now a transformational time to join the business. Due to sustained growth, they are now looking to hire a State Manager to oversee the NSW & ACT markets and report directly into the CEO. This role will have responsibility for a team of circa 13 who are made up of sales, training and administration staff. The key measurement of success in the role will be continuing the year on year revenue growth through strong financial and people leadership.
Profile
We are ideally looking for someone with a strong sales background who has then progressed into a State Management or similar type role. Exposure to training and trainers would be beneficial, as would some exposure to the hospitality sector. You will be comfortable working for an SME sized business and have a well-honed sales, financial management and people management background. This role will require some after hours work and weekend entertaining from time to time.
