About the business and the role
A world leader in our field our Company currently has an opportunity for a Sales & Account Representative to join the team, at our facility based in Melbourne.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
- Developing positive relationships and handling customers' needs
- Generating new sales using existing and potential customer networks
- Develop and grow new business opportunities across industry verticals and new market segments
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
REQUIREMENTS
Skills and experience
- Up to 3 years sales experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive
- Must have a technical sales background or sales experience in food, food ingredients, probiotics or pharmaceutical organisations
- Highly motivated and an impeccable work ethic
- Exceptional presentation & negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong business acumen and effective collaboration and influencing skills.
- Must be flexible with a highly reliable attitude and be available for regular domestic and occasional international travel
- A degree in Business or Science would be advantageous
- Have reliable transport and a driving license
- Sound knowledge of CRM software and MS Office.
