This Melbourne-based Events company are one of the most successful and experienced in the industry, and are currently looking for a talented and energetic Business Development Executive to help expand their huge portfolio of clients, whilst taking their career to the next level in this dynamic and highly valued team.
The Role
Joining an experienced team of 3, a typical day will involve:
- Contacting new and existing clients to promote and sell exhibition space at their key events
- Focus on building strong and genuine relationships from the start
- Managing a large database of active and potential clients specific to the industry
- Consultative and collaborative approach, accommodating client’s needs and negotiating mutually beneficial deals
- Working towards an attractive commission structure

The Ideal Person
- Previous Business Development experience, (Media, Events or Exhibitions is desirable)
- Strong rapport building and negotiation skills
- Strong business acumen, able to sell on ROI rather than physical products
- High-energy self starter able to manage a large portfolio of prospects
- Desire to earn great uncapped commission (OTE of $95k+ )
