We currently have an opportunity for an energetic and self-motivated sales/marketing professional to join a global chemical company in Melbourne. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new product strategies, mainly in the mining industry.

Our client is a global chemical company specialising in the import and distribution of high volume dry chemicals. Operating for over 40 years, they are one of the world’s largest distributor of natural soda ash. They are recognised globally for high levels of service, security of supply, credibility, integrity and regard for the environment.

Description

• Perform market research / analysis to gain valuable insights of market & technology trends, customer needs and competition

• Identify and target attractive market opportunities and customer segments through compelling value propositions and effective business models

• Developing new business opportunities

• Developing an in-depth knowledge of industry and customer products and processes

• Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers at all levels

• Contributing to the growth of the division through proactive account management, new product development and process improvement.

Profile

- Exposure to Chemical/Mining/Engineering industries locally

- Degree in Business/Science related course

- Driving Licence

- 1-2 Years Sales Experience

- Strong customer relationship skills
