We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, technically backed, self-motivated sales professional, to join our team in the position of Regional Sales Manager – Technical and Environmental Services, based in Sydney, NSW. This position looks after both NSW and QLD.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager - Technical and Environmental Services, you will be responsible for the identification and development of commercial opportunities while managing and strengthening existing contracts, and major projects for the performance and growth of the NSW and QLD business.
Your key responsibilities in this position will include:
- Development of the business to encompass additional revenue streams and opportunities
- Establishing and maintaining effective long term key account relationships, and expanding on these relationships through effectively up and cross selling all of the Toxfree services
- Effective tender preparation, presentation and financial analysis
- Monitoring and ensuring long term contract KPI’s are exceeded in partnership with regional management teams
- Manage the Sales team, function/systems, and develop sales support roles within the business
- Foster networks which allow Tox Free to remain abreast of changes within the Hazardous Waste Industry
To achieve the outcomes required from this critically important role, you will need to be able to demonstrate:
- An ability to establish and maintain effective relationships both externally and internally
- Strong leadership skills to lead from the front
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, business planning and business growth
- Strong technical background/knowledge
- Knowledge and experience in using continuous improvement systems
- Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels to achieve business outcomes
- Proven track record in managing sales systems, major contracts and projects
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Appropriate tertiary qualification (desirable)
- Waste/Chemical industry experience (desirable but not essential)
