About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Account Manager/ Business Development Manager for a national packaging, paper and recycling company based in the northern Adelaide suburbs.

Training will be provided upon commencement

We are seeking:

Experience in Business Development/ Account Management

Experience in waste and recycling industry (Preferred)

Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills

Demonstrated relationship building skills

Excellent problem solving skills

Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets

Demonstrated experience in report preparation and presentation

Drive, Tenacity, innovation and can do attitude

Assertive and results driven

Ability to think both strategically and tactically

Thrives in diverse, dynamic and fast paced work environment

Team orientated

Collaborative and participative management style

Ability to secure new business

Duties & Responsibilities

Establish and maintain strong relationships within an existing portfolio

Maximise new business recycling opportunities

Maximise recycling service revenue and profitability across the state

Develop and extend the business model by consistently providing feedback to the business on market conditions, competitor activities, potential barriers and opportunities

Develop and maintain a strong working relationship within the business to deliver contract compliance and maximise business within client portfolio

Comply with all policies and procedures

Manage customer enquiries and communicate effectively within other divisions and internal departments to resolve customer enquiries within agreed timeframes

Service delivery & equipment end to end management and direction
