About Sencia
Sencia is a new Australian developer and operator of retirement communities. Sencia is part of the Knowles Group which is the owner and operator of 35 Arcare aged care facilities in Victoria, NSW and Queensland, looking after over 3000 residents. Sencia is looking to become a trusted operator of safe, friendly and attractive communities aimed at over 65s where our residents can maintain their independence and live a meaningful and connected life.
Sencia's first retirement community will be in Point Lonsdale, Victoria. Once completed, the community will have 170 architecturally designed dwellings and a well appointed community centre. Development is set to start in 2018 with our first residents entering in around mid 2019.
About the role
Sencia is looking for Sales and Client Services Associates that will work with our prospective residents to select them an appropriate unit or apartment and then guide those residents through the sales and settling in process.
We are flexible on the days and hours that our associates wish to work but ideally candidates would be willing to work part of the weekend and through the summer period and a minimum of 3 days per week. We are looking for our associates to start in August 2018.
Remuneration is not commission based and associates must work together to provide an easy and continuous sales experience for our residents. You may also have the opportunity to help build the Sencia brand and its sales and client services processes as we grow.
A sales office is to be set up in the heart of Point Lonsdale and this is where the Sales and Client Services Associates will be located for most of the time - and there will be visits to the retirement community site a few kilometres up the road.
The associates will report to the Head of Retirement Living.
About you
An understanding of Sencia's residents' needs and the ability to make and maintain connections with people are the two key attrtibutes of candidates for this role.
A background in retirement living, real estate, health, hospitality or sales and marketing will be viewed favourably as will any established Bellarine Peninsula community connections.
You will be competent with office technologies (including the MS Office suite and an ability to learn new programmes once training has been provided) and you will be meticulous with record keeping. You will also have an excellent phone manner and be conscientious about following up leads. Your personal presentation will be highly professional and your attitude always welcoming and obliging and, of course, you have excellent communication skills.
Candidates must have a current Victorian driver's licence.
