The Company  


For decades our client has been at the forefront for supplying specialised products and solutions. Their core business objective is to maximize efficiency and productivity for their client base. Due to their continued success and growth here in Australasia, they now seek the services of an experienced Business Development Manager to make contact with dormant/ex customers.
   
In this stimulating and particularly fast paced role, you will be you will be expected to drive business from within their existing customer data base, coupled with detecting and securing new business opportunities from within a vast array of industries throughout the territory.
 

The Person


As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:

  • Previous sales experience within the Industrial Products industry selling Pneumatics, Valves or process automation and  related industrial industries
  • The ability to identify and secure new business opportunities within new market segments
  • An ability to build rapport quickly with people across all levels
  • An ability and willingness to travel
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills
