BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

We are on the lookout for a passionate and consultative candidate that thrives to drive, meet and exceed our commercial sales (Projects) channel. Working in a close-knit team of 4 and reporting to the NSW Sales Manager & working closely with the sales coordination support team in Head Office, we envisage this position to have a wide scope for new business opportunities.

 

Responsibilities would include:

  • Maximising sales by seeking out opportunities with architects, interior designers, builders, developers, real estate agents and other relevant stakeholders in the residential property development industry
  • Proactive approach to target new home sales channels & maintain existing new home builders
  • Build & maintain trusting and productive partnerships that continuously grow our commercial Retail Agents (MCA’s) business
  • Attending trade shows and industry events to maximise business possibilities and relationships
  • Run weekly Cordell searches for new project leads, and follow up of those leads
  • Work closely with the State Sales Manager to achieve state targets and proactively follow new leads & share information around current trends and future opportunities

The standout candidate will need to have demonstrated ability to meet sales targets, excellent written and verbal communication skills and confident presentation skills. In addition, a proven experience in a similar B2B sales environment, project architectural/retail/whitegoods exposure, and an exposure to Cordell are advantageous.
