A global leader in BPO services are looking for their next Account Director to come on board in Sydney to manage a major Financial Services Account.

You will contribute to sales growth by identifying and converting opportunities for business process/operations outsourcing within your assigned account, and work closely with the global business, including pre-sales and delivery, to craft compelling solutions, commercial propositions and a variety of pricing models etc.

To be successful in this role you will have worked on, or in a Financial Services account and have demonstrable success in growing said account(s). Brownie points will go to candidates who have worked on Financial Services account(s) specifically for other BPO / Consulting / Professional Services firms.

Day to day responsibilities include:
  • Manage and maintain all relationships within the account to ensure good account ‘health’
  • Customer profiling and mapping
  • Account planning, review and growth
  • Identify and secure meetings with relevant contacts
  • Work collaboratively with pre-sales to convert opportunities
  • Conduct regular account health checks to attain an understanding of needs and expose growth opportunities
  • Develop organisation charts / structures for the account
  • Create pricing models to suit and assist clients with Business Case development
  • Proposal creation, negotiation and closing
  • Manage a revenue quote of circa $3.5million (AUD)
Skills and knowledge required:
  • Experience in managing and growing at least one major Financial Services account
  • Previous responsibility and demonstrated success achieving revenue quotas of $2m+
  • BPO / Consulting / 3rd Party sales experience
  • Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles
  • Articulate with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
