As Australia's largest packaging distributor and a division of a multinational company with global operations, our aim is to provide organisations with a variety of total packaging solutions within the Australian, New Zealand and Asian markets. An exciting opportunity exists for an ambitious Area Manager working in our New South Wales branch with a focus on the Sydney Metropolitan Area, as well as country travel to the Southern Highlands, Canberra and Orange.
The role:
As an Area Manager for NSW, you will report to the State Manager and be responsible for driving sales growth by focusing on new business development within your region whilst managing existing SME and Key Accounts. 30% of your time will be dedicated to the development of new business relationships with the 70% focused on developing the existing relationships within a loyal client portfolio. There will be strong liaison with contacts in Procurement and Branch Management levels with emphasis on serviceability, customer service according to the SLA.
The successful candidate:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing new and existing client relationships. Strong customer and stakeholder relationship skills and sales drive, be able to work autonomously, be well presented, be able to work across multiple market sectors and have strong attention to detail. Experience in packaging desirable however those with technical sales experience will be considered.
