Your responsibilities…

  • Driving business with a variety of residential builders and architects
  • Generating specifications and presenting the product to a variety of residential builders and architects
  • Negotiations on terms, supply and pricing
  • Planning and reporting on your client portfolio
  • Trouble shooting, problem solving, making recommendations on products
  • CRM use, reporting and building a pipeline of sales
  • Undertaking market analysis, monitoring competitor activity

 

You are…

  • Proven track record of success as a BDM and business planning in a B2B sales environment
  • Outstanding communication skills; written and oral
  • Not afraid to ask for an order and chase business
  • Able to communicate with a wide cross section of the community - able to talk with trades and builders on site and be able to provide a boardroom presentation
  • Business acumen and planning along with strong organisation skills
  • Ability to pick up technical product information quickly
  • Ability to understand product aesthetics
  • Previous sales to build residential builders is an advantage, but not essential. Strong BDM skills in a B2B environment is a must!
