Your new company
A longstanding, reputable and serious player in the Building Product, Materials and Hardware space. They have multiple locations throughout NSW, and a vast and high quality product range to fit every stage of the building process. They have a solid and loyal customer base, and with a new location recently opening in western Sydney, ambitious growth and consolidation plans are firmly set in place. This has created numerous opportunities for experience Sales Representatives for the building industry to join their operation, which is currently more than 300 people.
Your new role
- Driving sales of Hardware and Building products within your designated territory
- You will be covering West Sydney territories
- Managing a customer base of Builders, Contractors and Trade customers
- Strengthening and maintaining relationships with these customers to maximise revenue from your territory and to continuously promote the company brand
- Provide technical support to customers on products where necessary
- Generating new business opportunities in your territory
- Sales reporting and forecasting to senior management
- Achieving monthly sales targets and KPI’s
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience of territory management
- Proven sales ability with both new business and account management,
- A “hunter” mentality, not afraid to persist for the sale
- Experience within the building industry highly desirable
- Product knowledge of hardware and building products desirable
- Candidates with a building/trade background with sales capabilities will also be considered.
