AWARD TECHNOLOGY is a well established Electronic Security installation company and are looking for a dynamic, self motivated, capable Business Development Manager to develop and expand their commercial CCTV and Electronic Security division.

Position Overview:-

You will be responsible for initiating contact within the Hospitals, Age care, Shopping centres, Commercial buildings, Councils, Logistics & Transport industries in order to introduce and propose a range of commercial CCTV and Electronic Security equipment.  

The position is approximately 50% office bound (phone/email) and approx. 50% on the road meeting with clients face to face.

Your main responsibilities and duties will include:-

  • Generate new Leads and Opportunities
  • Develop Sales Pipeline
  • Develop new business opportunities 
  • Processing new business from internet enquiries
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross sell products
  • Focused within the Hospitals, Age care, Shopping centres, Commercial buildings, Councils, Logistics & Transport industries
  • You will need to maintaining relationships with those new clients that you bring on board (Account Management)
  • Manage and assist in the quoting, design and presentation of proposals
  • Create and maintain a strategic sales and marketing plan to grow and develop your sales ability and advance in your career

Your experience, skill set and qualifications will include:-

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computing skills (MS Office Intermediate)
  • Dependable and reliable
  • 5 years experience within a new business development or sales position
  • Experience with generating sales proposals and designing cost effective solutions to meet client objectives
  • Experience within the Security, Technology or IT industry will be highly regarded, but not required
  • Experience in selling electronic security in commercial markets will be highly regarded, but not required
  • Technical knowledge in Electronics or IT will be highly regarded, but not required
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn about electronic security products specifications
