POSITION DESCRIPTION – Internal Sales & Follow Manager

Reports to:  Group Sales Manager

 

Job Purpose

The Internal Sales Specialist is responsible for qualifying National leads and entering as prospects in the company’s CRM tool. The successful Internal Sales Specialist will engage with interested prospects and transition qualified leads to the responsible Sales Executive for engagement in the sales process. This role will champion customer communications, campaign execution, and pipeline management best practices by exemplifying the stewardship of leads and opportunities.

 

Key Accountabilities

Performance Measures

Lead Generation

Categorizes and prioritizes sales inquiries, identifies leads and handles each lead according to established guidelines, including working with other departments to satisfy the prospect’s request.

BCI & CORNELL Leads provided

Handles all leads with the mindset that they are in part responsible for the customer’s first impression of the company by responding in an enthusiastic, courteous, friendly and caring manner while validating the inquiry to maximize lead monetization and conversion.

Satisfies every incoming inquiry as best as possible. Identifies avenues to service the customer’s needs; communicating daily to management any limitations on ability to do so.

Builds and cultivates relationships with prospects that approach Modinex Group by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities further along the sales funnel.

Following up all clients that receive sample kits and qualify and transition leads appropriately. 

 

As per KPI’s set by Manager:

To retain and grow database as per the KPI's set by the Manager

Leads followed up and managed in NetSuite

Support provided to Modinex staff to achieve customer satisfaction

Climate Survey Leads

Conversion Rate

 

NetSuite

Manages data for new and prospective clients in NetSuite Ensures all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached.

Quotes & Samples Followed up each morning and dispatched and assigned as a task to follow up.

Uses advanced networking skills to communicate with areas of internal influence to include Marketing, IT, Sales Support leadership, Revenue Management team, National Accounts operations team, National Accounts Sales team, and senior leadership.

Leverages dashboards and pipeline metrics on a consistent basis to identify the need to accelerate or advance opportunities within the pipeline in order to lead to sales win ratio. Manages and maintains all leads that come through various channels.

NetSuite updated and leads managed through to completion.

 

Total Quality Management

Complying with the quality system (e.g. quality documentation and checking procedures).

Contributing to the improvement of quality systems.

Ensuring quality issues/problems are reported/resolved.

Ensuring all documentation outputs are within specification and “fit” for the next customer.

Level of Quality System compliance.

Level of pro-active contribution/participation.

All quality issues reported in a timely manner and appropriate corrective action taken.

Completion of daily / weekly documentation compilation and processing.

Asset Protection

Protecting the organisation against the loss of intellectual or physical assets through the implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures.

General Duties

To undertake other duties and project work as may be required from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Netsuite / CRM Experience essential
  • Sales/marketing/promotional experience and/or qualifications
  •  An understanding of wider business environment that Modinex operates in
