The job

Based at La Trobe University, Bundoora and reporting to the Membership and Ticketing Manager, this newly created role would suit a strong sales professional. The key objective for the Membership Sales Executive is to assist with the sales and retention of membership and ticketing packages for the Melbourne City Football Club.

Duties include:

  • Responsible for, but not limited to, the sales of membership and ticketing packages
  • Attending Melbourne City Football Club events and matches to promote membership and ticketing packages to supporter base
  • Assisting the Membership and Ticketing Manager with membership promotional campaigns via digital marketing and telephone channels
  • Conduct membership sales over the phone, as well as facilitate inbound membership enquiries via email and phone communication
  • Upkeep of membership and member communication database
  • Target 80 calls a day focusing on selling full season memberships, flexi game memberships, ticket and group ticketing packages
  • Lead generation through creating contact lists and utilising existing contact lists
  • Participate and contribute to daily or weekly sales team meeting and training sessions
  • Contribute positively to the membership and marketing team culture

  • Strong administrative and co-ordination skills
  • An ability to contribute positively to the membership and marketing team culture
  • Self-starter who is highly motivated to achieve set targets
  • The ability to grow and maintain solid relationships with current and prospective members
  • Previous sales experience is desirable
