Our client is a Melbourne based team that provide the industry with specialist lighting designs, solutions and products using the best innovative technologies. They pride themselves on their professional approach to providing product to Australia's largest and most well known businesses.  They are looking for the right fit for their organisation and clientele - a sales executive with drive, ambition - who is customer-centric.  Exceptional stakeholder management skills and outstanding communication skills are essential in this role.  Currently selling through a distributor, our client is looking for a person who is willing to work independently and set up a Brisbane based branch.  So, initially you will be working alone in the state with excellent support from head office.

Major responsibilities of position:

• Deliver a professional sales/account management service to nominated existing and potential clients

• Maintain and continually develop clients through sales initiatives

• Maintain close relationships with your customers to achieve orders and sales targets

• Develop account plans to optimise compliance and opportunities for growth

• Develop and implement innovative strategies and initiatives to attract new and retain existing clients. Create opportunities to engage key prospective clients

• Monitor and report on market trends through your personal contact with customers and suppliers

• Prepare quotes for negotiation with clients

• Manage multi-level client relationships and negotiations

• Contribute to sales performance and planning.

You will have:

• Experience working within a business to business, corporate sales and/or Sales/Account Management environment within the lighting, electrical or electrical contracting industry

• Your clients will be leading electrical contracting companies so prior relationships in this industry will be required

• Exceptional communication skills and a professional well-presented manner

• High level interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Proven ability to deal with large corporations, convey superior levels of customer service and determine complex business solutions with analytical precision

• Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
