Nikon Australia provides high quality, innovative digital imaging products to the retail, commercial and professional markets.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Account Manger based in the Adelaide metropolitan area on a 12 month contract.

We are in search for a sales professional who has experience in the consumer electronics industry or in a similar field. As a Nikon Account Manager you will be responsible for ensuring Nikon is the number one valued brand and market leader in the retail environment.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with all retailers by promoting, training and selling the full range of Nikon’s digital imaging products, including accessories and service/s.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage and build strong working relationships with key retail stakeholders and business partners from floor level to senior management.
  • Provide up-to-date information to stores of any Nikon changes.
  • In-depth understanding and the ability to maintain a regular call cycle to optimise time and ensure efficient ROI
  • Create & deliver promotional activity in line with allocated budgets
  • Actively report on sales activities and market information
  • Acquire and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Organise and conduct product training.

Must Have’s

  • 2-3 years’ experience within an account management/sales/product training role
  • Photographic background desired
  • Previous experience in delivering training & strong presenting skills
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Be proactive & flexible with a can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work in a dynamic high volume environment
  • Ability to work independently and conduct a photo walk or similar activity
  • A passion for photography and be eager to seek new knowledge
