Atlas Copco Speciality Rental serves customers in various industry segments around the world with temporary air, steam, nitrogen and power rental solutions.

Atlas Copco Rental Australia is seeking a proactive professional on-the-road Sales Representative to drive the business development of compressed air, power generation and our associated rental products.  Our tight knit team is based in Karratha, however your territory coverage will include Northern WA, including Karratha, Pilbara, Port Headland, Exmouth, Broome.

Core responsibilities include:

A focus on the Mining and Oil & Gas and industrial sectors, the primary objective of this position will be to develop compressed air, power generation, nitrogen and steam boiler rental revenue in the region.

As the sales territory will include an extensive area, regular travel is envisaged to ensure sales support and development in this region.

You will assume the end to end sales responsibilities from receiving rental enquiries, customer visits, understanding technical applications, solution selling, quotes, T&C’s and associated operational aspects as required.

Experience Requirements:

We are looking for a customer focussed, results oriented sales professional with proven experience in selling technical solutions in a B2B environment.

It would be advantageous to have rental and/or compressed air and power generation applications, sales or service experience, coupled with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and diesel engines.  Industrial industry experience would be highly regarded.

Educational requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • A tertiary or trade education in a technical discipline will be highly regarded, although not a prerequisite.
  • However, strong technical aptitude is essential.
  • Experience in solution selling
  • A solid understanding of compressed air and /or power generation will be regarded favourably.
  • Solid PC software experience in MS Windows, MS Office is required.
  • Effective use of CRM system (Salesforce ideally) will be an integral part of the role.
  • Business to business sales training, or similar via experience.
  • Current Driver’s licence

You will need to be an energetic, self-motivated person with good organisational and self-discipline
