Your Money is an exciting new TV and digital media business formed by a groundbreaking partnership between Nine and Australian News Channel (Sky News). The 24-hour channel will broadcast and stream business news, real estate, luxury lifestyle and personal finance on a Nine free-to-air channel, Foxtel and multiple digital services, and be complemented by a digital presence across the yourmoney.com.au website and social platforms.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager from a digital financial services background who will source new, high value lead generation partnerships with clients across all financial services product categories.
The Role:
- Develop and manage an active pipeline of potential partners
- Make calls and initiate meetings with potential partners, pitch the benefits of partnership with ‘Your Money’ and follow up
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with prospective partners
- Provide forecasts for each new partner based on your evaluation and business cases
- Meet targets - deliver against set targets for sales volume and revenue / gross profit
- Maintain high levels of awareness of market and competitor activity and customer trends, communicating these internally and highlighting opportunities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all financial services verticals and products, and those of the wider group where there are synergy opportunities
- Manage, mentor and drive a team of Account Managers
Essential Requirements:
- Significant experience building B2B sales pipeline and delivering business in financial services lead generation, ideally in a comparison environment
- Proven experience and history of delivering against sales targets
- Experienced commercial negotiator
- Comfortable leading all aspects of the B2B sales process from pitch to contractual negotiations
- Driven, motivated and positive ‘go get’ attitude
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship development
