Our prestigious client has been experiencing double digit growth over a number of years as they continue to dominate the Australian market place from a technology, people and service perspective. As a result of growth in their Acquisition sales team, they now require a top performing IT Services BDM to join their Melbourne business.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the Victorian market place; selling managed maintenance services to include field engineering and business recovery. Reporting to the Southern Region Sales Manager, this role has the potential for both career advancement and extremely high on target earnings through an unrivalled industry commission structure and ability to continue to sell into acquired accounts.
The successful candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate the following
• A background in IT sales preferably selling IT maintenance or filed engineering services
• Proven success in cold calling, acquisitions style business development activities combined with the ability to manage an existing client base
• Outstanding presentation, communication and negotiation skills
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
Key to this role is your experience and understanding of the Victorian market and ability to leverage your business network. Identifying solutions for key business drivers you will support the overall business objectives while working towards your personal targets and goals.
