My client is a market leading IT consulting firm with 230+ employees that is growing rapidly across Australia and New Zealand. Having experienced double digit growth for the past 3 years in a row, they partner with some of the leading technology vendors in the world from a professional services, consulting, applications development, design and delivery perspective.

An Employer of Choice, they have an enviable client base of Blue Chip enterprise customers that includes the major Australian Banks, Insurers, Telcos, Retailers, Energy & Utilities providers.  

As a result of growth, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can help develop and grow new relationships/project opportunities within a small number of existing Melbourne enterprise customers, as well as winning some targeted, strategic new prospect accounts. 
  
 Key skills and experience required:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience selling IT/software professional services to the Melbourne enterprise market. A top performing IT recruiter looking to transition across to a leading technology consultancy may also be considered. 
• Outgoing, confident personality with a "Challenger" sales profile 
• Outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills with a good sense of humour 
• Ability to clearly and quickly articulate business benefits of the company's software services
• Team player with a proven track record of working well individually and as part of a close knit sales and professional services team
