BDM / Sales Consultant

APTech is an established Technology distributor with over 10 years successful trading. We specialise in exciting technology products which target the Education, AV Industry and SMB markets. An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, experienced sales professional who has some technical aptitude, to move into the new role of BDM / Sales Consultant. Reporting to the Managing Director, your key responsibilities will be to generate new business through existing sales partners, resellers and by generating new business through the recruitment of new high quality resellers.
Key Duties
- Drive sales and growth through existing business partners and resellers
- Generate new business through the recruitment of new, high quality resellers and guide them to success
- Build strong relationships with key players within the relevant industries (education, SMB and AV)
- Meet sales and revenue KPI’s
- Create and deliver product presentations and demonstrations
- Maintain and keep up to date all records and activities in CRM
- Assist with conferences and Trade Shows
- Interstate travel
Who you are:
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to influence and lead
- Self-motivated with the passion to sell
- Strong business acumen
- Target driven
- Strong phone presence, must be comfortable with appointment setting
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Interest in technology

Preferred qualities
- Sales: 3 years
- Proven sales into Education market
- Apple & iOS literate an advantage
