Job description
My Client is a manufacturer of shelving, trays and display units mainly made from powder coated steel and wire, they are also known for custom design for their customers, and have end to end in house manufacturing capability. It also has a very solid reputation for both Quality products and customer service for over 30 years and is located in Clayton precinct.
We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Representative to join our team. Someone to market and promote our products and services, that we can both do now and what we can do into the future, help grow and sustain operations. seek out new customers and revenue streams, revisit cold clients.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing sales plans to ensure sustainable growth
- Developing relationships with new customers
- Maintaining sales through existing key accounts
- Ensure outstanding customer service levels and expectations are met at all times
- Business Development exploring opportunities. Must have a "what next" mindset and be able to "do it" without support.

We are looking for someone who has a solid background in sales, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry but not essential. A self-motivated individual, driven by results coupled with excellent communication skills. Being a great relationship builder and a team player will ensure your success in this role. You will be a leader in this Business and will be required to lead by example.
Reporting directly to the GM, in this role you will receive a competitive salary in line with relevant experience; sales bonuses, a vehicle allowance and mobile phone.
