The Company
Our client is a community based, not for profit hospitality business, who specialise in function and venue hire in their communities. A leader within their industry they have formed close working relationships with industry partners. These relationships ensure that they are well positioned to continually meet the needs of the diverse communities that they serve. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join in on their success, in a newly created role, driving growth and profitable business outcomes.

The Role
Reporting to the Hospitality Services Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for the implementation of a robust hospitality business development framework to drive new revenue to achieve financial and strategic goals. You will present an in-depth ability to identify new opportunities, meet and exceed sales targets whilst building authentic long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
This role will see you expand on existing clients whilst also looking at developing new business across the South-Eastern market. Supported by an excellent Hospitality Services Manager, you will spend the majority of your week face-to-face with potential new clients and nurturing existing relationships.
  
Skills & Experience
You will ideally have a  proven track record in sales, possess an entrepreneurial attitude and have the ability to hit the ground running and make this role your own. 

The ideal candidate 
  • Passionate for face-to-face selling and relationship building 
  • Strong business development skills and the ability to foster and develop existing accounts. 
  • An excellent communicator with a natural affinity for building rapport
  • Strong focus on customer orientation
  • Genuine passion and enthusiasm for working in the Not for Profit industry.
