The Role:
A full time sales role in the small appliances department at Harvey Norman Moore Park. Some daily tasks include assisting customers, merchandising, organising promotional materials and housekeeping.
The role consists of weekend work as well as Thursday nights. Candidates must be flexible with hours and able to work around key sales periods.
Skills and Competencies:
Strongly driven and focused in retail sales
A passion and dedication to all aspects of small appliances with a focus on current and emerging trends, an active approach to learning about new products and building on existing product knowledge.
We require someone passionate in customer service and able to handle all aspects of customer care
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Providing a high level of assistance, guidance and service to our valued customers
Following up, updating and engaging with customer orders, quotes, customer inquiries in a proficient and timely manner
Coordinating, advising and engaging with suppliers in all aspects of the role including identifying new product information and stock levels.
Sales
Customers value a knowledgeable, helpful and highly qualified service offering.
Employees are expected to understand, actively research and keep up to date with market trends, customer expectations and needs. This also includes continuous product knowledge and training.
Merchandising
Detailed and consistent approach to merchandising, ensuring stock is clean and ready to demonstrate as well as correctly displayed as per company best practice.
Teamwork
Assisting, supporting and engaging with other employees in a professional and respectful manner in all aspects of the role.
