BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Pirtek Townsville is a leading supplier of hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittings, environmental products, lubrication equipment and a host of other associated industry brands.

We require a motivated, enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work to join our team as a BDM. This new position will focus on developing new potential customers whilst also maintaining current accounts.

This role demands:

  • Exceptional but subtle levels of negotiations in addition to excellent communication skills.
  • The skills to develop growth strategies and plans.
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing customers.
  • Increasing customer base.
  • Writing business proposals.
  • Identifying customers needs.
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts.
  • Experience with implementation of business development strategy.
  • The ability to self-motivate.
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets.
