Our client is a leading global supplier of Enterprise Cabling, Communications and Security Solutions to Contractors, Integrators, Consultants and End Users in the Telecommunications, Defence, Mining, Banking, Health, Government & Education sectors. Position & Responsibilities
Reporting to the State Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining new and existing accounts primarily with Tier 1 Electrical Contractors, Consulting Firms and End Users in the Queensland market. This role has a heavy emphasis on account acquisition and development, building and cultivating commercial relationships and working closely with key clients and prospects to identify new project opportunities, assess requirements and position the organisations capabilities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated sales or business development experience, ideally supported by a reference able contacts with Electrical Contractors and/or Consultants
- Proven & demonstrated track record of success
- Previous experience in Structured Cabling, Electronic Security, Data Centre Infrastructure, Electrical / Electronics or related product field will be highly regarded
- Highly developed communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills, with the proven ability to build and develop tangible long term commercial relationships.
- Professionalism, integrity and a positive demeanour
The Offer
The successful applicant will receive a highly competitive base salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $90,000 - $100,000 plus Superannuation, a $20,000 Vehicle Allowance and a lucrative incentive structure, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself with a leading global Fortune 500 organisation!
